Agility Strength

CFRR is now offering a new Agility Strength class. This class will be every Tuesday at 4:30pm. Agility training can improve dynamic balance, which is the ability to maintain control of a moving center of mass over a changing base of support. This translates very well to improving many CrossFits movements we do day in and day out.

All forms of exercise take some type of power. Whether you are using your hip drive to power clean 200#. Using your back foot to push off of running blocks. Movements that take power can drain you quickly and if you over exert yourself. You won’t get as great of a workout if you don’t keep your intensity throughout.

Coach Emilio recently did a video explaining how power output affects the intensity and overall outcome of your workouts. This should be used for all Metcons and is the reason why high-intensity training is so effective.
