We are proud to welcome Charles King to our community. He has been in group classes now for a full month. He has been consistent in attending classes and also taking advantage of Personal Training sessions with Coach Landon. Charles joined CFRR back in December and went through our Fundamentals process. Those 15 sessions gave him a solid foundation for weightlifting movements that he had never tried previously. Also, it proved to him that CrossFit doesn’t have to involve injury or pain (except after Fran, then there’s always pain. The good kind of course). Welcome aboard Charles. We can’t wait to see your progress continue!

I have been a runner and triathlete for the last 30 years, with a little weight work thrown in for good measure. Now I have decided to try and get stronger, and CrossFit was the logical step
This was the only gym that offered/required the Fundamentals approach. As I have no formal training in weightlifting this was the perfect answer for me.
Squats. I never knew that properly done, they were not a threat to my knees. I like my knees a lot.
Avoid injury, and make CrossFit a weekly habit.
I qualified for the Boston Marathon – but I did not go.
