April Athlete of the Month – Madeleine Price

We are proud to announce our April CFRR Athlete of the Month, Madeleine Price!!

Madeleine started her CrossFit journey with us in 2011. Over the years, many of us have had a sheer pleasure of watching her grow into the amazing, hard-working, beautiful, kind, young lady and dedicated CrossFitter that she is today! We asked Madeleine a few questions about her journey and here are her answers.

1) What is your biggest motivation?

To wake up everyday a better person than the day before

2) Your favorite quote or words to live by?

Live life to its fullest

3) What is your current training goals/PRs?

To get a muscle up and get consistent double unders

4) Take us back to your first day of CrossFit… How did you feel? How do you compare it to workouts today?

My first day of CrossFit was when I was 9 and don’t remember how I felt but, to this day I have gained so much strength and a much stronger mindset.

5) What advice do you have for new athletes just starting out in CrossFit?

Go in with an open mind

6) Tell us about a moment you felt most proud of yourself during a workout?

I felt most proud during a workout is getting my double unders, having struggled and wiped by the rope so many times! It was a true accomplishment!

7) What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit?

Outside of CrossFit, I like to travel, shop and try new things

8) What’s your favorite part of CrossFit Round Rock?

My favorite part of CFRR is the community, it’s like a family. Every workout the energy is great and encouraging!

9) If you could create a WOD and name it for yourself, what would it be?

MAD BAD

the workout would consist of handstand push-ups and deadlifts and maybe some burpees

10) How has your diet changed since starting CrossFit (if it has), and what foods do you rely on most?

My diet has changed by not eating out as much and making smarter choices of cutting out some dairy and gluten.

We thrilled and honored to dedicate this month to celebrate Madeleine!

To say we are proud is an understatement!
