Sheldon’s Corner: Scrambled Eggs Perfected With Shaker Bottle

Scrambled Eggs are probably one of the simplest and fastest foods to cook. With that said, it should also be the simplest and fastest food to prepare. However, we often over complicate this process when we dump them into a bowl and whip them up. Although this may still seem like minimal effort, there is yet an even simpler way…

Do you own a shaker bottle and do you like eggs? If you said yes to both of those questions, then you’ve got the best tool to make quick and easy scrambled eggs. Why mess with hand whipping when you can just shake…shake…shake it out.

Crack your eggs into your shaker, put the lid on tightly and shake…shake…shake. If you want to get real fancy, after you’ve whisked your eggs in your shaker bottle, add some great ingredients like: bacon, onions, bell pepper, cheese, etc. for a fancy scramble. If you’re doing some meal prep, make egg muffins to heat up during the week. All you need to do is shake your eggs, add your ingredients and pour into your muffin tins.

Here is a recipe I found that feeds several and gives the eggs a little kick:

Scrambled Eggs

  • 28 oz Blender Bottle
  • 10-12 Eggs
  • 5-8 Dashes of Hot Sauce (You can use Tabasco, Tapatio, Valentina or Sriracha)
  • Tiny splash of Milk
  • Pepper Grinder 8-12 turns
  • 2 heavy pinches of crystal salt

Directions:

  1. Add the ingredients to the Blender Bottle.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Pour into pan and cook.
